small disappointments

Problems I have with Mephisto: the caching is all screwy, there is no clean sidebar interface (it’s edited through the templates), and the plugin system is less than perfect.

The caching problem is my biggest issue. It might have something to do with the fact that another rails app used to reside in this directory; it’s caused problems before. We’ll see how it pans out over the next few days.

I need to get some sleep. I’ve got all of Spinoza to read tomorrow and my essay to write.
